IT was a fatal end for a motorcyclist who was not satisfied with the compensation he got from a woman motorist for supposedly knocking into him.
The man, identified as C.Unnikrisnan, 29, snatched her handbag and fled but the woman gave chase and rammed into him at a dead end.
In the 10pm incident on Wednesday, Unnikrishnan had approached her at a traffic light stop in Jalan Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, claiming that she had knocked into him.
The woman, a marketing executive, stopped at a petrol station where the man demanded money as compensation.
The 28-year-old woman gave him all the RM42 she had on her but he was not satisfied.
He wanted the woman to hand over her mobile phone but she refused.
Unnikrishnan then snatched her handbag and sped off with the woman giving chase in her car.
He ended up at a dead end at a golf course near Taman Titiwangsa. The woman failed to control her car when Unnikrishnan stopped his motrcycle and rammed into him.
Unnikrishnan, who had a criminal record for robbery, suffered head injuries and died on the spot.
The woman is assisting police in investigations.
The case has been classified under Section 304 of the Penal Code for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.-DC
