BBC Radio 4's Crossing Continents travelled to Malaysia to explore the divide among races. This extract features reporter Mukul Devichand speaking to Luqman, a student leader at the Universiti Teknologi Mara - a Malay University. He led a street protest after a state official remarked that perhaps one in 10 university places should be opened to minorities. I got it from YOUTUBE.

i saw this from facebook... wth to the guy... suck english and stupid somemore.. damn racist!!!
what a bloody racist view....they seemed to forgot that the non-malay citizens contribute as much....this kind of people is the reason why 1malaysia so hard to achieve
right...juz because they are the so called majority in this country means that they can take away the right of other people to get education?
He said that juz because they juz cant get out from their mom.s armpit..
they have being pampered lot since decades ago, now, and forever.
such an idot act la u guys!u all never read about our perlembangaan ka?hak keistimewaan orang melayu!if u dont like the idea of it, go ahead migrate other country!
Good ideas to migrate away from Malaysia, imagine the sudden flux of Malaysian chinese migrating out from Malaysia.
Estimate 7 million, Malaysia government left to tax the balance of 2 million working population, and all the global business contacts that is leading to their new country that are willing to accept them.
Do you think "Hak Keisteimewaan Melayu" still mean anything...without any pocket money. Wise up not one should own Malaysia it's her people, those still caught in the Malay rights only set trap to their own race, because globalization have proven to be colour blind.
Very true, if I don't like Malaysia government, change them or we can decide to leave the country for good.
After all it will be a sinking ship...to all the "Malay Rights Believer" do think about your very basic citizen rights first...majority still don't realise you are being rob by BN government...so pity.
Just to share that many of my malay friend condemned that statement as they know that we as a human can't be racist forever.. Everyone need to change. Just my cent :)
